Rhonda Burnough is running as a Democratic candidate for Missouri State Senate District 2. Burnough graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City with a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice and Criminology. She enlisted in the U.S. Army after finishing college. After completing her service, Burnough worked as a teacher and administrator in the Kansas City, Kansas Public Schools for over 20 years before retiring.
