Reece Pyrtle serves in the Oklahoma House of Representatives for District 2. He was elected to this office in 2018. Before that, Pyrtle worked for the U.S. Department of Defense. He served in the U.S. Navy for 5 years and achieved the rank of Petty Officer First Class. Pyrtle earned his Bachelor's degree in business from the University of Oklahoma in 2015. He is an enrolled member of the Cherokee Nation, and serves on the Tribal Veterans Advisory Board. Pyrtle and his wife, Chelsea, have 3 children and live in Oklahoma.read less
