Rachel Zenzinger was raised on a farm in Arvada. She attended Regis University where she earned her BA in Business Administration. After college, Rachel joined the Joint Budget Committee, where she analyzed the state budget. She served on many local boards and commissions and helped run the family business. Rachel was appointed to the State Senate in 2013, elected in 2014 and re-elected in 2016. She currently serves as Vice Chair of the Senate Finance Committee and represents Senate District 19, which encompasses Arvada and Westminster.read less
