Quang H. Nguyen is a small business owner. Growing up in Vietnam as the eldest son of ten, he learned the meaning of responsibility early in life. In 1992, Quang escaped communism and tyranny by sailing away on a 20-foot boat with 28 other refugees. After six days stranded at sea and surviving typhoons and pirate attacks, he finally arrived in Thailand before resettling in the United States. Quang has been a resident of Georgia’s 7th district for over 20 years. He lives with his wife of 25 years and has two sons. He is active in the community and his church.
