Peter A. Tercyak was born in New Britain, Connecticut on April 30, 1963. He graduated from Central Connecticut State University, where he earned his B.S. and Master's degrees in accounting. Tercyak was first elected to the Connecticut General Assembly in 2000. He represents the 26th Assembly District of New Britain and Newington. He is chairman of the Labor & Public Employees Committee and serves on the Finance, Revenue & Bonding, Public Health, and Human Services Committees.read less
