Pauline Wendzel is running as a Republican candidate for Michigan State House of Representatives District 1. She served in the U.S. Navy for over 20 years before retiring in 2015. Wendzel is originally from Lansing and attended Waverly High School. She earned a bachelor's degree in business and public communications and a master's degree in human resource management from Eastern Michigan University. After retiring from the Navy, Wendzel returned to Michigan to focus on political issues affecting veterans, small businesses, and young families. She currently works as a human resources director.read less
