Paul Robert Newton is from Richland County. He has served as County Coroner since 2007. Newton is a graduate of Lower Richland High School. He graduated from Midlands Technical College's Funeral Service Education Program. Newton is also a licensed funeral director and embalmer. He owns Newton's Funeral Home in Columbia.
