Paul R. Holvey was born in Corvallis, Oregon. He earned his BA in Political Science from Oregon State University in 1981. He served on the Corvallis City Council from 1991 until 1998. In 1998, Holvey was elected to the Oregon House of Representatives, representing House District 8. He is currently serving his eleventh term in the House. Holvey serves as Chair of the House Committee On Rules and Vice Chair of the Joint Ways and Means Committee.read less
