Paul A. Cutler is a Republican member of the Ohio State Senate, representing District 24. He was first elected to the chamber in 2018. Cutler is a teacher with Chardon Schools. He was selected by the local Republican Party to run on the November 2018 ballot to replace retiring state Sen. Tom Patton. Cutler previously served as an officer in the U.S. Navy. He served in the Persian Gulf during Operation Enduring Freedom and in Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom. He earned the Navy Achievement Medal. Cutler earned his B.A. in history from Ashland University in 1997.read less
