Pamela Rosen Lampitt was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She earned her B.A. in Education and English from Temple University in 1974. She was a middle school reading specialist and teacher in Cherry Hill. Lampitt served on the Cherry Hill Township Council from 1998-2001. She was elected to the New Jersey General Assembly in 2001, where she serves on various committees including the Health and Senior Services Committee.
