Nolan West was born in Houston, Texas. He enlisted in the United States Marine Corps Reserve after high school. After serving for 6 years, he left the Marine Corps as a Sergeant. In 2010, West started a career in public safety, working first as a deputy in the Harris County Sheriff's Office. He rose through the ranks, ultimately attaining the rank of Captain before retiring.read less
