Nima Kulkarni was born in South Dakota and moved to Kentucky at a young age. She attended DuPont Manual High School in Louisville before earning a BA from the University of Louisville in 2007. In 2008, Kulkarni joined the Peace Corps and served in El Salvador for two years assisting with volunteer programs focused on youth development. When she returned to Kentucky, Kulkarni managed a youth leadership program with the Americana Community Center. She also earned a Masters in Social Work from the University of Louisville in 2013.read less
