Nelson Brownell graduated with a degree in chemical engineering. Brownell pursued his family's horse farm and sales business alongside Nancy Sullivan Brownell and they own a family farm in Fond du Lac County. Brownell strove to serve rural America, spent 35 years advancing agriculture, and serves on the Fond du Lac Electric Cooperative. Brownell contributes significant time to our community with local charities, food pantry, and animal shelter in addition to serving these several years on the Fond du Lac County Board.
