Nan Grogan Orrock is running for Georgia State Senate District 36. Orrock was an activist and organizer during the civil rights movement. After moving to Atlanta with her husband, she led civic organizations and voter registration drives. In 1986, Orrock won election as a Georgia State Representative. She served seven terms in office. Orrock returned to community organizing before winning election to the Georgia State Senate in 2020. Her priorities include civil rights, education funding, healthcare access, and ethics reform.read less
