Morgan J. Rielly is a professional ice hockey defenceman and an alternate captain for the Toronto Maple Leafs of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was selected fifth overall by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft. Rielly made his NHL debut in 2013. Since entering the league, Rielly has become one of the Maple Leafs' top defencemen. He is praised for his elite skating and playmaking abilities.
