Minnie Gonzalez is serving her eighth term in the Connecticut House of Representatives, representing the 3rd Assembly District. She was first elected in 2003 in a special election. Representative Gonzalez sits on the Appropriations, Human Services, and Public Health Committees. Prior to her election, Gonzalez was a counselor and principal of Park Avenue School. She also served on the Hartford Democratic Town Committee. Gonzalez earned her B.S. in social work from Central Connecticut State University.read less
