Mike J. Shower currently serves as representative of Colorado House District 3. He was elected to this position in 2018. Prior to being a legislator, Mike spent 32 years working as a peace officer. His other professional experience includes teaching and operating small businesses. Mike lives with his wife Patti in the San Luis Valley, where they've farmed and ranched for over three decades. They have two children and four grandchildren. Mike graduated from Adams State College with a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science in 1977. He later earned his teaching credentials from Western State Colorado University.read less
