Miguel P. Garcia is a native Philadelphian. He went to Central High School and graduated from Temple University in 2003. Following university, Miguel joined AmeriCorps and worked with Habitat for Humanity. In 2006, Miguel helped open a charter school in North Philadelphia as Director of Student Life. He has also worked for Philadelphia Safe and Sound as a youth violence prevention specialist. Miguel lives in the Juniata Park neighborhood.read less
