Michael Nemes is a Republican member of the Kentucky House of Representatives, representing District 38. He was first elected to the chamber in 2016. Nemes serves as the chair of the House Committees on Committees and Economic Development and Workforce Investment. He is a member of various committees: Appropriations and Revenue; Elections, Constitutional Amendments, and Intergovernmental Affairs; Judiciary; Small Business and Information Technology; and Tourism and Outdoor Recreation. He previously served in the Kentucky House from 2013 to 2014. Nemes earned his B.A. in political science from Transylvania University in 2005.
