Michael L. Grant is a Republican member of the Michigan House of Representatives, representing District 71. Rep. Grant was born in Detroit and raised in both the city and suburbs by his mother and grandparents. After serving in the military, Rep. Grant began working at Ford Motor Company, while also earning his business degree. He would go on to work in banking before opening his own real estate brokerage and property management company. Rep. Grant serves on several House committees including Tax Policy, Communications and Technology, and Military and Veterans Affairs. He and his wife Regina have four children.read less
