Michael J. Fitzpatrick was born in Bucks County, PA in 1960. He graduated from Bishop Egan High School in 1978. He was County Commissioner for Bucks County from 1995 to 2003. In 2004, he was elected to the PA State Senate for the 10th District. In 2006, Fitzpatrick was elected to the U.S. House to represent the 8th District of PA. He lost his re-election bid in 2008 but ran again and won back his seat in 2010. He served in the House until 2017 when he did not seek re-election.read less
