Michael F. Smith is a native of Tunnel Hill, where he graduated from Northwest Whitfield High School. After high school, Michael attended Shorter College where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science. Michael is an active member of the Dalton Rotary Club where he has served on the Board of Directors. Michael currently serves on the Whitfield County Planning Commission. He attends Christ Church United Methodist, where he has served on the Administrative Board and Education Committee. Michael has also served as an assistant coach for recreation league baseball and basketball.read less
