Melissa Lackey Oremus is running for District 4 of the Iowa State Senate. She obtained a Bachelor of Applied Study with an Emphasis in Human Services degree from the University of South Dakota. Oremus has worked as a Senior Business Analyst and as a Program Manager for healthcare and insurance companies. She serves on the Advisory Council for the Grundy Center Community School District and has volunteered with organizations supporting healthcare, children's literacy and education, and reducing poverty.
