Maxwell Alejandro Frost is running as a Democratic candidate for Florida's 10th Congressional District. Frost, a 25-year-old gun reform and social justice activist, was born in Orlando, Florida in 1997. Frost has been involved in activism since his high school days, advocating primarily for gun control legislation in response to the mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida in 2018. He has worked as an organizer and national campaign surrogate for the ACLU and March for Our Lives. Frost is running on a progressive policy platform supporting Medicare for All, the Green New Deal, student debt cancellation, infrastructure investment, abortion access, and criminal justice reform. If elected in November, he would be the first member of Generation Z to serve in Congress.read less
