Matthew W. Moonen is a former Democratic member of the New York State Assembly, representing District 147. Moonen earned his BA in political science from Siena College in 2000. In November 2006, Moonen won a seat in the New York State Assembly, defeating incumbent assemblymember James Tedisco.
