Matthew D. Deneen is a former Senator who represented District 2 in the Connecticut State Senate from 2013 to 2019. He served on several committees including the Appropriations Committee, Higher Education and Employment Advancement Committee, and Insurance and Real Estate Committee. Deneen earned his Bachelor's and Juris Doctorate from the University of Connecticut. Prior to serving in the Senate, he worked as an attorney in private practice and served on the Board of Education in Wethersfield. Deneen resides in Wethersfield with his wife and two daughters.read less
