Mary Frances Williams was born in New Orleans, Louisiana. She received her B.A. degree in Political Science and History from Loyola University in New Orleans in 1971. She received her J.D. from Loyola University Law School in 1975. After law school, Ms. Williams served as an Assistant District Attorney for Orleans Parish where she prosecuted both misdemeanor and felony criminal cases. In 1979, she entered private practice specializing in civil litigation. She has tried cases in both state and federal courts.read less
