Martin E. Hickey is a Democratic member of the Missouri State Senate. He assumed office in 2013. Hickey earned his BA in Government and Philosophy and JD from the University of Notre Dame. After law school, he worked as an attorney in St. Louis. In 2010, Hickey successfully ran to represent District 1 in the Missouri House of Representatives. He served in that office from 2011 to 2013. Now in the state senate, Hickey sits on several committees including the General Laws and Joint Committee on Legislative Research where he is the ranking minority member.read less
