Mark B. Messmer was elected to the Indiana state senate in 2014 and was re-elected in 2018. Prior to that, Messmer served in the Indiana House of Representatives from 2005 to 2014. He also served on the Jasper City Council from 1992-2004 and was mayor from 1999-2004. Messmer owned a small business for over 20 years. He attended Indiana University and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Affairs. He and his wife have three children.read less
