Margaret M. Craven was born in Lewiston, Maine. She earned her associate's degree from Central Maine Community College in 1992. Craven earned her bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from the University of Southern Maine in 2002. She moved to Augusta in 1988. Craven has worked as a teacher in elementary education for over 25 years. She served as vice chairman of the Maine Republican Party from 2013 to 2014.read less
