Lynn R. Smith was born in Kansas City, Missouri in 1955. He has served as a member of the Missouri House of Representatives from 2007 to 2016. Smith earned his B.A. in Communication from Missouri State University in 1978. He then attended Missouri State University where he earned his M.S. in Counseling Psychology in 1980 and Ed.S. in Counseling Psychology in 1982. Smith worked as a Counselor for Hickory County Schools from 1982 to 2007. He also serves on a number of civic organizations.read less
