Lynn Evans was born in Michigan. She received a BA in accounting from the University of Michigan. After college, Evans worked for a large accounting firm in Detroit. In 1982, she moved to Pennsylvania where she worked for a small technology company. In 1988, Evans started her own accounting consulting business. Evans got involved in local politics, serving on the school board. In 2010, she successfully ran for a seat in the state legislature. Evans is focused on education, jobs and healthcare. She and her husband Greg have three children.read less
