Luke E. Torian was born in Jamaica before immigrating to the US. He earned his B.S. degree at Hampton University in 1975, and later a Master's in Divinity at Virginia Union University in 1979. In 1998, Torian was elected to the Prince William Board of County Supervisors, representing the Coles District. He served on the Board for 10 years before being elected to the Virginia House of Delegates in 2009, representing District 52. Torian currently serves on several committees including Appropriations, Agriculture, Chesapeake and Natural Resources, and Counties Cities and Towns.read less
