Luana Stoltenberg was born and raised in Minnesota. She graduated from Concordia College in Moorhead. Afterwards, Stoltenberg worked abroad in Japan teaching English. When she returned stateside, Stoltenberg settled in Duluth and became a special education teacher. In 2006, Luana won a highly competitive Bush Leadership Fellowship to attend Harvard's Kennedy School of Government. While there she focused on education policy and reform. After graduating Stoltenberg came back to Minnesota. She now works in early childhood education policy for the state.read less
