Lori Trahan is currently serving Massachusetts's 3rd Congressional District in the United States House of Representatives. Trahan holds a bachelor's degree in political science and journalism from Georgetown University and a master's degree from Boston College. Prior to serving in Congress, Trahan was Chief of Staff for former Congressman Marty Meehan and also served as his campaign manager. Trahan has experience in the private sector working for software and consulting firms. In 2018, Trahan was elected to Congress by defeating Republican challenger Rick Green. As a Congresswoman, Trahan serves on the Armed Services, Education & Labor, and Small Business Committees. She is married with two daughters.read less
