Lesley J. Lopez is Vice President for Policy at the Public Leadership Institute. Ms. Lopez writes model legislation at the state and local level and develops messaging strategies on issues such as education, immigration, and reproductive rights that are used throughout the country. Prior to joining PLI, Ms. Lopez was a Policy Analyst with the National Council of La Raza (NCLR). At NCLR, she focused on federal legislation and policy around issues affecting the Hispanic community including education, health, housing, immigration, workforce development and asset building.read less
