Lavon Bracy Davis was born and raised in Orlando, Florida. She attended Valencia Community College before graduating from the University of Central Florida with a degree in Legal Studies. After college, Ms. Davis began working for State Representative Geraldine Thompson as a legislative aide. She later worked under State Senator Gary Siplin as a legislative assistant focusing on criminal justice, transportation, healthcare and economic development issues. In 2016, Ms. Davis ran for Florida House District 45 but lost to incumbent Kamia Brown. She continues to be active in the Orlando community.read less
