Lauriebeth Hager was born in Dayton, Ohio. She attended the University of Dayton, graduating with a degree in English and women's studies in 1992. She worked for the Montgomery County public defender's office as an investigator and victim advocate. She also co-founded a nonprofit called Artemis Center to provide resources to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. Hager now works as an attorney specializing in protection orders, divorce, dissolution, custody and juvenile law. She lives with her husband and two daughters in Dayton.read less
