Kerry A. Benninghoff was born on June 27, 1960 in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. He earned his B.S. degree in Public Administration from Shippensburg University in 1982. Benninghoff was first elected to represent the 170th legislative district in the PA House of Representatives in 1996. He was elected by his colleagues to serve as Majority Whip in 2011 and elected as Majority Leader in 2013.read less
