Kelly E. Hastings was born in 1954. He was raised in Pasco, Washington and graduated from Columbia High School. He graduated from Washington State University with a degree in Business Administration. Hastings was a member of the Washington State House of Representatives between 1994 and 2006. He served as Secretary of State from 2013 to 2016. He also served as President of the National Association of Secretaries of State from 2014 to 2015.read less
