Karla Lea Drenner was born August 2, 1952 in Gardiner, Maine. She earned her B.A. in Education in 1975 from the University of Montevallo and her M.Ed. in 1990 from Mississippi State University. Ms. Drenner was first elected to the House of Representatives in 1998. She currently serves on the Defense & Veteran Affairs, Higher Education, and Rules Committees.
