Karla J. Lems is running for District 3 Ward 2 Richfield City Council in 2022. She has lived in Richfield for over 20 years. Lems is a graduate of the University of Minnesota where she studied business and marketing. After college, she worked in medical device sales before becoming a stay-at-home mom. In the community, Lems has been involved with the Richfield Soccer Club, Richfield Baseball Council, and served as Treasurer on the Richfield Ice Arena Board.
