ABOUT
K. Joseph Shekarchi was born in Warwick, Rhode Island to a middle class family. His mother was a supervisor at New England Telephone Company and his father worked at Leviton Manufacturing and Amica Insurance. Shekarchi graduated from Bishop Hendricken High School located in Warwick, RI. He went on to Providence College and graduated in 1990 with a Bachelor's degree. In 1993, Shekarchi graduated from Suffolk University Law School with his Juris Doctorate degree. After law school, Shekarchi served as a law clerk for Judge Paul P. Pederzani Jr. at the Rhode Island Superior Court until 1996. He then opened his own law practice, the Law Office of K. Joseph Shekarchi, where he specialized in criminal defense and civil litigation.read less
