Julie A. McGuire was born and grew up in Danbury, Connecticut. She attended Western Connecticut State University where she received her BA in Justice and Law Administration. After college, Julie started working at a nonprofit that assisted domestic violence and sexual assault victims. In 2002, Julie decided to relocate to North Carolina. She continued working with victim advocacy groups and volunteered with several local charities. Julie currently lives in Clemmons, North Carolina with her husband and two children.read less
