Joshua K. Morris is from Hansford County, Texas. He earned his BBA from West Texas A&M University in 2007. He is President CEO of Joshua Construction and a volunteer firefighter for the Texas Forest Service. Morris states that living in rural areas gives him a “unique perspective on how the policies created in Austin and Washington DC directly impact the daily lives of Texans.” He believes the state should provide tools for small businesses to grow through reasonable regulations and lower taxes, and support infrastructure improvements to “help connect more rural communities” across Texas.read less
