John S. Duarte is a small business owner and manager in California's Central Valley. His family has farmed there for over 100 years. Currently, Duarte manages 4,000 acres of farmland that produce a variety of crops including almonds, pistachios and grapes. Duarte is also president of a community bank in Northern California. He serves as chairman of an agricultural nonprofit that provides farmers with information to mitigate regulatory burdens.
