John Ryan Nelson Williams was born in Bridgeport, CT. He received his undergraduate degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point and his law degree from Yale Law School. After law school, Williams joined the U.S. Army's Judge Advocate General's Corps. He served in Iraq, Afghanistan, Germany, and across the U.S. in various legal roles advising senior Army leaders. He continues to serve in the U.S. Army Reserve as a Colonel in the Judge Advocate General's Corps.read less
