John Michael Parker is running for South Carolina State Senate District 41. Parker was born on November 6, 1994 in Charleston, South Carolina. Parker graduated from the College of Charleston in 2017 with a degree in Political Science. After graduating, he worked as a Policy Analyst for the South Carolina Senate Labor, Commerce and Industry Committee. Parker is running on a platform of improving infrastructure, education, healthcare access and affordability. If elected, he hopes to increase investment in rural communities, protect the environment, and make state government more transparent.read less
