Joe H. Alexander is the former Chief United States Magistrate Judge for the Middle District of Tennessee. He received his B.A. from David Lipscomb College in 1967 and his J.D. from Vanderbilt University in 1970. Alexander served as an Assistant United States Attorney from 1970 to 1980. He was a special agent for the FBI from 1967 to 1970. He served as Chief United States Magistrate Judge from 1982 to 2014.read less
