Jim K. Guthrie is from Louisville, Kentucky. He received his bachelor's degree from Western Kentucky University. Guthrie was a businessman prior to entering politics. He served in the Kentucky House of Representatives from 1998-2002. Guthrie was elected to represent Kentucky's 2nd Congressional District in 2008. He serves on the Budget, Transportation and Veterans' Affairs Committees. Guthrie is married with two children.read less
